Boys - (who like girls who like. . . etc.)
asks for a date at least a few days before an informal affair, two weeks to a month before a formal dance.
is well-groomed and dressed for the occasion.
never deserts his date for another girl.
doesn't act loud and boisterous; doesn't swear.
respects his date's abilities and opinions, knows girls aren't all "fluff."
can take "No" for an answer
Girls - (who like boys who like . . .etc.)
is ready when her date calls for her.
is attractively and appropriately dressed.
is natural and sincere; doesn't "put on airs."
doesn't apply make-up in public.
is considerate of a boy's wallet.
can keep up in a conversation.
is enthusiastic, doesn't save "Thank you's" for a canned curtain speech.
