Boys - (who like girls who like. . . etc.)

  • asks for a date at least a few days before an informal affair, two weeks to a month before a formal dance.
  • is well-groomed and dressed for the occasion.
  • never deserts his date for another girl.
  • doesn't act loud and boisterous; doesn't swear.
  • respects his date's abilities and opinions, knows girls aren't all "fluff."
  • can take "No" for an answer

    Girls - (who like boys who like . . .etc.)

  • is ready when her date calls for her.
  • is attractively and appropriately dressed.
  • is natural and sincere; doesn't "put on airs."
  • doesn't apply make-up in public.
  • is considerate of a boy's wallet.
  • can keep up in a conversation.
  • is enthusiastic, doesn't save "Thank you's" for a canned curtain speech.
